Summary
She heard wheels approaching, and froze. She had chosen a hiding place (before her legs had become too hard to move) that was out of the way for a reason- no one should be able to find her unless they were purposely searching. The wheels grew louder, and then stopped. She was motionless, scarcely able to breathe. It was probably someone who had taken a wrong turn, or had just gotten lost- she just had to stay still and quiet, and everything would be fine-

Summary
The Commission facility had been cleared out before Krupp and Purse’s team had arrived- children being taken back to O.S.S. headquarters for examinations and processing so they could begin the rehabilitation process. The children, some as old as twelve and some as young as a few months, would require extensive therapy to unlearn how they had been raised, and from there would be rehabilitated, integrating back into regular society. A process that would be extensive and take time, but ultimately would be successful. The O.S.S. had done it before.

Summary
Joule did not like the Above. It was cold enough to be habitable, yes, but it was too dry to be comfortable for very long. Unfortunately, she did not have a choice. Time had blurred since she had been captured- she had been too curious, and strayed too far from her pod to look at the Legged Ones and their boat, and had been caught in their net.
A Danger Kontrolle (Bochum JoulexWembley Wrench) fic where Joule is a mermaid and Wrench is a scientist, and somehow it all works out.

Summary
The plan had been working perfectly. They had snuck out of their room and made it to Joules with no issue. They had woken her up and had convinced her they needed to leave, and she had thankfully done so without complaint. But it was here, less than fifty feet from the door that the plan had fallen apart.
