Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Camicazi have managed to escape the American Dream 2 but are now faced with the impossible task of finding their way back to Berk with nothing but two hunting dragons, a table, and a boy good at plans who has a head wound. The task becomes even more impossible when the troop of dragon riders who rescue them turn out to be strangely familiar... and prove to be evidence that they are less of an ocean away from home and more of an entire different dimension away from the Barbaric Archipelago they know and love.
One thing is for sure: If they ever get back home they certainly deserve to be declared the winners of that swimming race.

Hiccup has lived on Berk his whole life and is no stranger to the cold that comes with living just a few degrees South of freezing to death. He considers it a feature of his home, actually. The cold that nips at his ears and streaks across his cheeks when he and Toothless fly is not worth worrying about compared to the still bitter chills that fall over the island in winter. At best, it is a small price to pay for the view and the rush. At worst, it is only going to get colder so he might as well appreciate what he’s got.

"Warlord of the Sea" is an impressive title. It's far beyond what Buggy ever saw himself reasonably achieving. But he has the world fooled so far and maybe, as his status garners more respect from even those that know the truth, he can feel less like a coward in convincing makeup and more like a pirate with a show to put on.
