Okay, so maybe Sokka’s noticed that Zuko’s left eye doesn’t really move that much.
That’s fine. It’s fine, because it’s damaged, and probably injured terribly by some incredibly unlucky accident, and it doesn’t even have an eyelid, so like — Sokka can work with this. Maybe it just doesn’t have any functioning nerves anymore. Sometimes, eyes just don’t move; it’s all perfectly normal, a regular day, just like Zuko strolling into the Western Air Temple to volunteer himself as Aang’s firebending teacher/prisoner/Not A Friend.
Walking in on said firebending teacher/prisoner/Not A Friend polishing an entire entirely-detached eyeball? Not so fine.
or: zuko has a glass eye. toph is fully ready to exploit the fact.

“I’m fine,” Zuko pants, even though his legs aren’t quite cooperating. “Sorry. Just dizzy. That’s all.”
Katara’s not buying it. “You really need to lie down.”
“Just—just for a few minutes,” he concedes, and maybe he should’ve put up more of a fight, because judging by Katara’s face, actually agreeing to rest might be the most worrying sign he could’ve given her.

Zuko breathes in, the heat of the desert burns his nose and lungs and he only just holds back a heaving cough at the sensation. If he was a firebender, he wouldn’t have this problem, he thinks. If he was a firebender, his father wouldn’t have hurt him, wouldn’t have burned him, wouldn’t have torn him away from his home, his crown.
“It’s okay, Prince Zuko,” Iroh says to him, but Zuko knows it’s not. He’s lost everything, but now he knows that he never had it in the first place.

Summary
The Western Air Temple is graced with an almost constant breeze; from the flat plains above, the wind sweeps down the walls of the ravine and into the open spaces of the temple. It tugs, light and playful, at whatever lies in its path, presses with determination into even the furthest corners of hidden rooms. It makes the place feel alive somehow, even Zuko senses that. He'd thought something similar the first time he came here, so certain that this is where he would find the Avatar and end his search before it truly began.
He wasn't entirely wrong. He did find the Avatar here.

Flash, let it be known, doesn’t like Peter. He’s too good at everything—infuriatingly so—and nobody ever calls him on his bullshit, like with AcaDec nationals. Flash has to put his all into everything he does for a fraction of the attention Peter gets for his bare minimum, and it pisses him off, to say the least, so sue him for looking for chances here and there to knock him down a peg.
However, when he notices, he shuts his entire operation down.
Maybe Peter has a decade on his age when he was in the thick of it, but Flash remembers what it was like. He gets having school be a safe place, and nobody, not even himself, is going to jeopardize that for Peter.
