Licking it off his fingers, Donnie began trailing kisses up April’s stomach to her heaving chest, feeling satisfied as he took in her disheveled hair and blissed-out facial expression. His eyes tracked to the left and he saw the cat-themed cased phone laying face down on the bed, most likely tossed to the side when it got too overwhelming.
It was only then that the previous phonecall came back into his mind.
