Leon watched as Chris unclasped his hands and raised his head. His eyes grew sharper and his jaw tightened, hands balling into fists again. Leon flinched. Whatever Chris had been thinking about had only calcified his anger.
Chris looked at Leon with something that Leon didn’t recognize and didn’t want to. Like sharp anger but with soft, plush edges.
“Jesus Christ, man.” He pushed a hand through short chestnut brown hair, a sharp exhale leaving his nose. “I stood there and I fucking defended you while you were out fucking around. Did you know that?”--
In which Leon Kennedy is an unstoppable force, swinging wildly between temptation and safety. Not because he wants to be unstoppable, but because he'll crumble under the weight of adrenaline withdrawals if he finds the time to stop. He finds out the hard way that Chris Redfield is an immovable object, especially when it comes to his sister.
