Charlie raked his eyes across the audience, the spotlight pointing directly at him making them faceless figures out there in the shadows. One hand locked into the edge of his midnight blue cape and swept it up and around in front of him as he pulled his black silk top hat deeper into his curls with the other hand.

Summary

Needing a new focus he finds himself trawling the internet one night and discovers a mesmerising opportunity, the kind of opportunity he'd usually be quick to turn down, because that's what he's always done, stayed safe, taken the obvious path, and look where that's got him!
Deciding to go for it, he's expecting hard work, long hours and no social life.
What he's not expecting are a whole host of new neighbours and friends, including one who makes him question everything he thought he knew about himself.
