CM Punk finally won a World Heavyweight Championship. He had the belt. He fought like hell, but he finally got what he'd been after for years. He had his moment, truly his moment. For all of five minutes and ten seconds before it was ripped away. Five minutes. Ten seconds. A number shorter than one he'd mocked only a year prior.
Drew McIntyre should've been celebrating a victory, not obsessively watching the match of a man he hated. But if he had been celebrating, he would have missed it all. A win that brought the ever-prickly Punk to tears. A reign so short it dug into Drew's still stinging anger at his own short-lived reign. A man and a briefcase. Five minutes. Forty-six seconds. Drew had burned the number into his psyche. He should've found Punk's devastation thrilling, but the knife in his own wound felt like guilt.
