It wasn't new information to Badgerclops that his close friend and heroic partner was absolutely metal. Unfairly strong. Unnerving in his seeming indestructibility at times—and fearless in the instances where he wasn't so indestructible. Badgerclops bore witness to it daily.
Dojo blunders, video game wars, and all the snack disputes held over the kitchen table in between felt like a whole world away sometimes.
(Maybe they were never quite as far away as they seemed.)

Dean was scheming. Seth knew he was. Yet, he wasn't dreading what would come of it. It wasn't a drastic leap to say he was looking forward to it, actually. He loved this game as much as the next Hound did, even if he pretended like he didn't sometimes.
"Roman— he knocked me down to like... eighty percent battery?" He pointed at Seth with one finger, either not noticing or ignoring the tiny smile that showed up on Roman's face and continuing to deliver the statement completely deadpan. "You're still at a hundred, so... we're not on par no more."
A beat of silence followed. Seth licked his lips and glanced from one brother to the other, knowing all too well that there was no way out for him. The least he could do was stick a quip or two before his grisly end came.
"Maybe you can learn a little somethin'," he said, deciding with finalizing certainty that he didn't fear death.

Jon Moxley knows Seth Rollins is a bit of a crook. He's kind of one as well, so he can spot another from a mile away.
That, maybe not so much to his surprise, isn't the reason why keeping in touch with the guy, meeting him behind buildings or in bars to throw down or flocking to quiet spaces in the great outdoors like the two birds of a feather they always were to rub elbows in an inherently fighty way, makes Jon's wrestling soul so happy.

A bunch of connected, self-indulgent, kayfabe compliant works about The Shield and their slightly-enhanced-for-fluff-sake bond—as well as their almost-just-as-visited tendency to butt heads.
A wordy tag I got rid of for the sake of brevity and neatness was, 'In a world where everything is the same except the Shield boys bond through tickling'... and that's still an apt description, I think. (The canon divergence tag is there for more minor reasons at the moment, but it'll possibly be for bigger changes later on.)
