Summary

Summary
The dorm all but shook from Jisung's heavy footsteps, frantic and irrational as he barged out of Chan's room, yelling for the others to wake up. His hands trembled as he stood there in the living room, eyeing the mess left on the coffee table and TV console, the strewn around clothes and food wrappers, and he felt a twitch in his fingers at the uncommon sight. He knew damn well no one would've left that mess after what happened yesterday afternoon.
Something was wrong.
"What's going on? Why are you yelling?" Changbin screamed just as loudly while Hyunjin covered his ears.
"Channie-hyung's not here."
There was a beat of silence, a moment of consideration, before Changbin suggested that Chan might've gotten to the studio earlier to make up for the time they lost yesterday. Or to avoid them.
Jisung, having been awake in what felt like a nightmare for longer than them, shook his head. "No, no. He's not here. His room is different. His bed's gone."

"Minho, hey," Chan said, stepping forward. "You don't have to apologize. I’m not uncomfortable. I asked because I cared, not because I wanted a polite 'I'm fine.'"
Minho stopped moving. "I’m just... not used to people asking."
"Well, get used to it," Chan said with a gentle half-smile. "Like I told you, you've got my number. And you know I’m only a few feet away. You don't have to carry the heavy stuff alone anymore."
