Summary
Eris has finally gotten what he wanted. His father is dead, and his mother is happy. Ruling is exhaustive, and for four years, he has dug into work to raise his Court back from the ashes. However, in order to find a solution for the politics of his Court and getting rid of a thorn on his foot, he decides it's time to take a vacation and allow himself to have some fun. What he doesn't expect is that, along his travels, he will have the most unlikely companion! What may come out of it?

Azriel has seen his life go to waste as the world is now at peace. There's no one to protect, no battles to fight, so what use does he have now? His friends have moved on with their lives, mated and happy. The Seven Courts are at peace now that Eris is High Lord of Autumn, and even Tamlin is coming back from depression.
