Summary
Mathilda is a transgender who is about to come out to her family, and best friend Gilbert after knowing she was a boy for about a year. After it goes horribly wrong she flees to New York with Gilbert, where she attempts to create a life for herself, and save up for the surgery (technically multiple, but, hey?) that will finally let her feel at home in her own body. In the process will she fall in love? Or will everything continue to go downhill?
Sorry for the sucky, sucky summary, please try this! It's better than the summary maker it out to be. It has proper (kinda) grammar and is relatively well written for a first fan-fic, so....please?
