The familiar girl tried to help him up, ushering him from where he was laying down in the cold snow in front of the doorway and inside the small home where the sickly sweet smell was stronger. The girl paled as soon as she opened the dilapidated door, but she steeled herself and guided him inside, and it was then that he saw it, the carnage that was inside of what used to be a quaint little home. Corpses of people strewn about carelessly, their blood seeping through the tatami floor— Mom, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta — seemingly against his will, his knees crumpled down onto the floor, tears filling his eyes as his throat let out the most agonizing sound…
And it all came rushing back.

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)
OR
Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

Dream is back and Tommyinnit is scared. He’s terrified actually. Every breath shaky with fear, limbs shivering uncontrollably when the sun sets behind the hill, bringing only darkness. Tommy is full of fear. So much fear that it is keeping him up at night and follows him into his nightmares.
Yet, he clings onto it. Desperate hands are grabbing the feeling and holding it close. Because, to be honest, fear is the only thing that is still keeping him going at this point.Or Ranboo dies and Tommy refuses to deal with his emotions until eventually he doesn't.

Tommy blinks, unbelieving for a second, before standing up and tilting his head curiously. Another dubious blink, Tommy looks up to not meet Ranboo’s eyes, but rather look far behind him. One little thing that reminds Ranboo how considerate Tommy is.
He swallows, “Uh, it’s fine if it’s not your thing or anything and I’m just reading far too into it or- “
“I love it,” Tommy whispers, a smile creeping up his face. “And this is mine?”
Ranboo nods jerkily, “Of course, it’s all yours.”

Or, Ranboo knows a thing or two, because he's seen a thing or two. That includes Tommy being fucking traumatized and experiencing dissociation.
(Or, me, the author, found a new coping mechanism to my struggles with dissociation and wanted to share with the class. (And project onto Tommy, but that's another bag of beans.))
