Roksu has gone missing. And Cale knows who did it.
Actually, everyone knows who did it. Cale isn't all that special in that sense.
The one thing they don't know is whether he is alright, hurt, or even alive. The most frustrating point being that he isn't allowed to join the search. They think keeping him out of his brother's dissapearence will keep him safe.As if. They keep forgetting that Roksu and Cale are not the same person. They also forgot that while they are not the same person, Cale is just as stubborn as his brother. And he may know some things that might give clues to Roksu's location.

Summary
He had fuzzy memories of loving water lilies as a child. Remembered distant memories of watching frogs jump on lily pads. He had found it fascinating how flowers could bloom so beautifully in water.
However, as soon as those warm memories came up, they disappeared. Suddenly, the redhead was left confused. He dropped his hand that was full of wilting white petals and looked at the teacup in his fingers full of yellow-ish white lemonade. Without a second thought, he gulped it down.
As always, it felt tasteless.
In which, Cale realizes he might die and tries to stop it. Only to realize he'd rather die, because now he knows why.

Great. Now he had to deal with a drunk and probably heartbroken teenager, or he was sure the whole town would gang up on him for not "taking responsibility" or something equally horrific.

I simply love the message of this story. Though the harmless-peaceful premise doesn't seem to matter in the real world, it should. I don't want to be harmless either. Almost nobody does. (Or else, how can you defend against other harm? idk) Maybe some do, because they don't think they're capable of giving back all the harm they've been inflicted back. But what is harm. I don't understand yet. So I am bookmarking this for the day I will.
