“If you’re really okay,” Rumi stopped him halfway, pain and confusion in her voice, “then why are you pushing me away?”
And why is the Honmoon reacting to it?
As he turned, hesitant to answer, her expression suddenly shifted, looking past his shoulder.
“Don’t move,” she whispered urgently.
Jinu’s heart dropped, with a sneaking suspicion he knew what she saw.
Rumi drew her sword from the Honmoon, her expression hardening into that of a Hunter.

Rumi was just trying to unwind after rehearsals for the new single by hate-scrolling through fan edits of her and Jinu, but the second he crawled onto her back half-naked, dripping wet from the shower, and started reading them out loud, she knew she had fucked up.
Or: Jinu discovers the “mating press + breeding kink” fan ship headcanon on Rumi’s phone, decides he needs a proper demonstration to learn what it truly is.
