All who climb Mt. Ebott disappear.
This was the legend, yet two kids called 'Frisk' and 'Chara' went to do just that.
With the Monsters freed, they discover what kind of world they left behind—along with the fact they were never the only Monsters living in it. As Asgore faces the repercussions of his decisions, the reintegration of the Monsters to society falls on Frisk's shoulders. But disappearing from the world doesn't come without consequences. Nobody, dead nor alive, is above them.
But if you must choose the past or the future, and only one of those can be changed, which one are you willing to give up?

Summary
After a millennia, monsters are free to roam the surface and with them, magic begins to return as well. Humans and monsters share magic, technology, and culture, perhaps finally bringing peace to a world ravaged by political turmoil. But the return of magic and the changing political scene are not Frisk's primary concern. While his friends move forward into the future he is haunted by ghosts of his past. While family and strangers alike worry about the lengths he would go to to rid himself of the dangerous deal he made under the mountain, demons and angels alike watch and wait for the moment to make this world their own.
