Pretending to be married for two weeks is a difficult task in and of itself, but they both are determined to make it through without getting any real feelings in the way... Now that's the real challenge.

So Judy does go through heat, was his first thought, and admittedly that revelation was greatly self-serving and more satisfying than he expected. Judy was deeply conservative about that information. He’d asked on occasion, and her eyes would narrow and her nose would twitch in a way that sort of scared him. Territory not to be charted, he figured. That was fine. It wasn’t like Nick was suffering from an animalistic desire to breed.

Nick chuckled and looked at the photo. It was an old picture of Judy her parents had taken when she was 9, just before the Carrots Days festival. She had just finished putting her costume together for the play and was proudly wearing it while holding Sir Cuddleton.
Nick’s smile widened, and she could see his tail start to wag lazily behind him.“Why yes I do officer. That’s a little bunny bumpkin with delusions of grandeur.” He then leaned forward and rested his chin on his paw. “Adorable by the way.” He said, looking straight at her.
“I meant the stuffed animal.”

The red bulb fills his hand, withering label peeling with the words scrawled: “Thirsty Step”
It seems ominous, radiating with a dangerous energy. Unlike the other seemingly inconsequential tubes lining the walls of the room, this one was kicked under one of the panels, collecting dust. Perhaps it had fallen off the shelves, or maybe Rick hadn’t wanted it resurfaced at all.
Morty looks around, back at the door, making sure no one was in sight.
He hesitates before reaching up and plugging the bulb into his helmet, eyes rolling back the gates, the memory flooding in like an unruly tide.
