Summary
Once upon a time, Cassidy was an ambitious, dedicated Team Rocket member with Jessie as her beautiful partner and girlfriend. They tried to rise through the ranks but found progress slow, failing both to gain power and maintain their relationship. After a series of professional and personal breakdowns, Cassidy eventually left it all behind, not seeing any benefit for herself in continuing to go along with the organization's antics.
When Team Rocket's new micromanaging secretary Matori picks from an abandoned task, Cassidy finds herself drawn back in. Even if wanting to stay alone, connections to both the dangerous organization and an even more dangerous pokemon remain. And even if wanting to deny it, there's also been much left lingering with Jessie.
