Two Olympic competitors, one week. Their similarities and differences push and pull against each other. After a spontaneous saving from the ocean the two find themselves constantly placed into different situations with each other. Their relationship always on a turning point. You can't outrun your problems, and you can't out-swim them either, but it's a hard pill to swallow and Technos drowning underneath it.

Tommy nearly spits out the poor excuse for green beans as he stares at the new kidーRamboob, he’s pretty sureーwith his eyes wide and his mouth shut tightly in case he actually does spit out the school’s daily vegetables.
He scoffed, completely swallowing the green beans in his mouth so he doesn’t have to talk with it half-full. “I can’t believe you would say something like that, Ramboob, The Blade would never date someone like Dream,” Tommy almost shivered at his own words. To think, to think that this new kid who is trying to steal Tubbo from him, now thought that Mr. Blade, the coolest teacher and possibly the coolest man in the world, would ever date Dream, the lowest of the low, the tyrant, the only person who would assign twenty homework questions in the hardest subject.
If Dream was dating anybody, it would be whatever loser invented math.
Or: Tommy doesn't believe that Mr. Blade, his English teacher, and Dream, his math teacher, are together, and Ranboo's also there

Dream kept glancing at him incredulously while Techno talked, mouth opening and closing. "Wait, Tech-"
"I'll meet you at the clinic once I've lost the damn thing. Don't worry about me, go find that medicine for our son."
Dream didn't say anything at first but then nodded and they split up as soon as they met the next street, Dream going right and Techno veering left.
Just as he thought, the walker raced after the latter with a growl. He grinned.
