As a self-described supernatural journalist, Izuku had learned to temper his expectations. It wasn’t that he didn’t believe, but the simple truth was that most paranormal allegations fell apart under scrutiny, and he had no reason to think this would be any different.
Until he met Katsuki, at least.
“Don’t do it,” he told him, the way you’d beg someone not to jump off a cliff. “I’m not an idiot, Deku. I know why you’re here.” He leaned in close. “You’re looking for Cantor’s Road. And I’m telling you right now—if you find it, you’re gonna wish you hadn’t.”
How quaint it was for Izuku to realize only after he arrived: he should have listened to Katsuki.

Summary
For Bakugou Katsuki, Izuku is home.
The two have grown up together, as impossible as it usually was for a member of the dragon-borne clan to grow up with an outsider.
They have both heard the story before. How Mitsuki and a small party of hunters had found Inko just within clan borders, alone, injured and pregnant. How the clan had offered sanctuary and the boys had been born a mere 3 months apart.
How they have been inseparable ever since.
Young Izuku would giggle. Katsuki would smile his fierce smile.
Reality, clan politics, and the workings of destiny try to separate Katsuki from Izuku. They struggled to stay together, neither wanting to be without the other.
We make promises when we are young, never fully expecting the price we someday have to pay in full.

meinameisammy: Okay, I've got a prompt. I have this idea for an AU where, instead of ending up with the Chitauri after he fell, Loki ended up on Midgard--specifically, Afghanistan. With Tony. Whataretimelineslol. They end up capturing him, and either put him in the cell with Tony or somewhere where they can still talk. I'd like to see a sort of relationship-/trust-building kind of thing. It could be a one-shot or multi-chaptered, I don't mind!
Loki expected death when he fell from the Bi frost, but instead he's trapped in a cave with a scientist and a man with a mechanical heart. Whether this is his punishment for almost destroying another world he doesn't care, they just want to leave.
