Yang rolled her shoulder as she walked into the Menagerie home she shared with her wife. It had been a long day at her workbench at her shop. She got the project done, but her sore and stiff shoulders now protested.
Yang grumbled to herself as she tossed her bike keys in the bowl near the door. Yang looked around the living room. Blake's car was in the driveway, but no signs of her and Yang thought Blake had volunteered to cook dinner tonight. Maybe she was wrong about that.
"Blake? I'm home!"
No response.
