He saw the side-eyes, the subtle wiping of hands on aprons after taking his money, the wide berth people gave him when they saw him coming down the street.
The idea of touch as a casual commodity was foreign, a luxury he wasn't afforded as an elda.
He didn't mind it, content to shy away from everyone he ran into-Until serendipity introduced him to a certain noble who had no qualms in allowing Will into his space, and for the first time in his life, Will wanted to reach out.
