Summary
After All Might crashed the last embers of his dreams and left him alone on the roof, Midoriya Izuku didn't even bother looking towards the stairs. He couldn't go back, there was no point in trying to continue when there was no longer any ground to stand on. So he leaves, hoping for a better life... Only to be given a chance to face down against the world, that insisted on pushing him down, when the teenager's quirk finally manifests. And yet, that horrible feeling right under his skin stays firmly in place, why is that?
Shigaraki Tomura was on one of his many gaming outings, needing to wind down after one too many games with worthless NPC's masquerading as his teammates. As he was about to reach the local arcade, a movement in a nearby alley caught his attention. A teenager in desperate need of help was being ignored by the masses, just as he was back before Sensei found him. Against anything he'd been taught, Shigaraki reaches out the hand he needed back then, offering the kid a place to stay and a way to make his rage known.
