“Good. Maybe it’ll deflate your ego,” Kiyoomi replied dryly, but the corner of his mouth twitched in amusement.
Miya stepped closer, his grin widening as he leaned in again, this time lowering his voice. “Yer laughing at my jokes, Omi. Admit it, I’m growing on ya.”
Kiyoomi tilted his head, pretending to think. “Like mold.”
Miya snorted, throwing his head back with laughter. “Ya got jokes now, huh? Look at ya, all grown up and sassy.”
