Summary

Unfortunately for Miriam, it means she's suddenly been pledged to House Dellamorte as a bride for the First Talon's heir: a man who's made his name among the Crows killing mages from Vyrantium.

Summary
A What If? Look at the tale of Baldur's Gate centered around the relationship of reader and Astarion if he'd had someone with him during the tail end of his two hundred years of misery.
Barely canon-compliant given that I don't own game. Most characters will be background decoration. This started off as a collection of vignettes, essentially, that highlighted portions of their relationship as it changed through the years. There's no coherent timeline involved, most chapters were posted under the heady impulse of inspiration, linear timeline be damned.
A plot does emerge later in the story, focused on the reader's past and the problems that come with it.
I'll be playing fast and loose with a myriad of rules concerning the BG3 universe and D&D as a whole.
