“Should we call Zoey and Mira?” Suggested Jennie, finally revealing what she had been thinking about. Two pairs of eyes looked at her. “What? She must have them saved on her phone.”
Ara and Yi-seo exchanged a look, ruminating on Jennie's idea with different levels of interest.
“And tell them what?” Ara prodded sceptically.
Jennie shrugged, lifting her head up to look down at the other two. “Easy, it’s the International Idol Awards in three weeks, right? Why don’t we give them a little reunion?”
Yi-seo turned her head to look at the younger girl better, brows knitted in thought. “It’s been fifteen years without talking, Jennie, what are the odds of them wanting to meet after all this time?”
Jennie smirked. “Oh, no, no, no, you misunderstood. We’re not giving them an option.”

Summary
Mira looked up, following the sound. Her eyes were blurry from the tears streaming down her face, but she clearly make out the man who threw her off, laughing as the beast grabbed her wrist tightly with its teeth, preventing her from falling.
She could feel its teeth grinding down hard on her muscles and bone and the blood dripping from its snouts. The purple fur around her teeth was drenched in blood.
Red eyes observed her quietly, almost like a silent apology as Mira dangled in the air.

Mira's life has already been a mess. But after meeting Rumi and Zoey it turned into chaos. Fighting off demons and seeing a girl turn into giant purple golden retriever was not on her to do list when she got away from her parents. But when the disappearances in Seoul get worse Mira has to decide whether to stay out of it or help beat up some unruly demons. On the plus side... she got to see Zoey's carefree smile and Rumi's... semi-creepy grin.

Their third hasn’t been found years in but on some random blustering November day a man collapses during a set and a woman with patterns launches into action so fast they can’t even process what’s happening. Or that this demon seems to be channeling the honmoon into her medical care. Rumi just wants to keep doing her wildly traumatizing job why do these two women think she wants to join their K-pop band?

For once in her life, Rumi wants to be selfish.
Or: HUNTR/X works towards sealing the Honmoon and falls in love along the way. Pre-reveal Rumi, hiding both her patterns and her wants, loves her girls in whatever way she can until she's free (whether that means shielding Mira and Zoey in fights or pretending to be something she's not). She just has to hold out until the Honmoon’s golden. Straightforward enough, right?
