“Shut up yourself, Al,” Wade yells back. “We are fighting, not flirting.”
But then Wade gives Logan a shrewd look, like he sees through all his bullshit and steps closer to say, soft and seductive, “Or am I wrong? Is fighting what turns you on, peanut?”
Like the fucking asshole doesn’t already know the answer to that.

The first time he hears it is actually in that goddamned Honda Odyssey.
He's got Logan on his back, his blood is dripping into Logan's mouth, and the maniac grins, this ferocious, alight sort of smile, and right before Wade gets shot straight through the roof of the van, he swears that he can hear a low, steady rumble somewhere under all the wet sounds of blood-soaked breaths and angered growls.
Since people don't purr, he's actually pretty sure it's a rattling wheeze; a horrible wet asthmatic sound because Wade has a knife in his lung, but that doesn't mean he's not going to be an asshole about it.
"Aw, listen to that, is kitty purring?" Wade jeers, twisting his knife in Logan's chest. "Kitty's happy to get put in his place?"

“I don’t believe that. You never stop talking.”
“They don’t call me the merc with a mouth for nothing, daddy.” Wade tries to lick the blood off Logan’s face and misses by a hair’s breadth.
Logan shoves him back down to the center console and Wade howls. It fucking hurts, but he still gets a little moan in there because his pain-pleasure wires got crossed a long time ago and it pisses Logan off, two for the price of one. Over his voice he hears Logan growl, “Stop calling me that!”
“What, augh, god, ow, what would you prefer? Sir? Master? Professor? Fuck—“ Wade’s got a better angle to grind on now and Logan’s hand gripping his jaw is doing it for him. “Or we can go the other way, huh, princess?”

And then there’s the fucking katana. Yeah, fuck you Disney, every single person who purchased tickets to this movie has been robbed. Robbed blind!
Wade Wilson has the Wolver-fucking-ine on his knees, getting his chin tilted up by the tip of a sword like a little fucking damsel waiting to be swept away and ravaged. And, crazily enough, he isn’t even struggling. His tongue slips out to lick over his bottom lip and the sharp points of his laterals.
“Open up for me, puppy love,” Wade grins.
Logan sneers, showing off his canines, but opens his mouth anyway. Fucking unbelievable.

Dettlaff shouts, “You shouldn’t have meddled, witcher! You never should’ve meddled!” and lunges.
Every one of Geralt’s muscles coil tight, preparing to defend against whatever Dettlaff levels at them, and yet his mind wanders to what Regis will have to go through. He’ll have to fight Dettlaff with Geralt, or Geralt will have to fight him, and neither option sits well with Geralt. In the quickly passing moments he has to consider his options, he remembers something that Syanna mentioned to him in The Land Of a Thousand Fables.
He jumps back so that Dettlaff’s first two blindingly fast swipes miss. “Alpha!” His voice comes out as a yelp in his battle-induced panic. Around him, both of the vampires falter at what he’s said. Regis freezes at his side. Dettlaff’s arms drop a fraction and he gives Geralt a very odd look indeed. Geralt can’t make it out. “Don’t do this,” he adds in the lull.
Dettlaff jolts forward so rapidly that even the witcher’s enhanced eyes have troubles seeing him. Dettlaff’s palms land hard against the front of Geralt’s shoulders and slam him into the crumbling stone wall of Tesham Mutna.
or, Geralt gets a lesson in vampire biology.

A dull pain blossomed in his leg and he toppled over, slamming into the asphalt hard enough to bloody his nose and smash the bottle of bourbon he’d been gifted. He groaned, writhed, rubbed his leg, and raised his head just enough to see that he’d been hit by a red Lamborghini. Some rich asshole, no doubt, and Geralt knew immediately there was no possibility of getting a new bottle of bourbon out of them. Groaning, he lifted himself from the ground and picked up his plastic bag, hobbling for the sidewalk.
“Hey, wait a second!” A man had leapt out the car and run after him. “I’m terribly sorry, sir, are you alright?”
Geralt turned to frown at them. It was an old man. Black hair with hints of grey, black eyes, pale skin, and muttonchops. He didn’t seem to groom himself very well, which was surprising for a rich guy.
