His vision and surroundings seems too industrial for his liking, only to be bounded upon the inability to speak and a metallic feeling all around his body. Just what exactly is going on, he would wonder, on his way to find Tails and others for an explanation!

    Sonic swallows – or what he would have done.. He startles himself, noticing no such thing exists. He can’t swallow. He can’t even open his mouth. Does he have a mouth? He swore he had one just yesterday before he fell asleep. He ate a chili dog while talking with Tails about how to stop another one of Eggman’s plans – he had a mouth before!

    He tries to speak, but nothing comes out, just fear lacing his heart. Heart? Wait.. He can’t feel that either. He moves his hand to his chest, trying to find where the beat would lay.. But it doesn’t exist. There is no thump in sight.
