Jeongguk let his imagination spin out around him. He wanted to cook for Jimin and kiss him while he sat on the counter, getting so caught up in each other that the food burnt and they had to order in. He wanted to shower together and make stupid shapes with shampoo in each other's hair, and then kiss until the water went cold. He wanted to take him dancing, and then slip away to be the one getting him off in the bathroom. He wanted to tuck Jimin's always cold hands into his pockets on walks. He wanted to give him his sweatshirts to wear. He wanted to take him to his favourite restaurants and make sure he ate enough. He wanted to spend all night mapping out ways to make him feel good.

The only thing that made Jimin’s big fat crush on Jeongguk bearable and almost painless was knowing that no matter what the circumstances were, he would never have a shot with the maknae. He was a guy and Jeongguk was into girls, as simple as it sounded. So it wasn’t a rejection itself, it was more of a blank wall Jimin would never get to cross and somehow he found that way more comforting than thinking that even if he had the slightest chance with Jeongguk, the younger still wouldn’t pick him.
It may sound complicated, but thinking like that allowed Jimin to sleep at night without his heart aching. Or that was until the day Jeongguk called all of them into his room to talk.

"No." Jeongguk shrugged, as if it didn't bother him. "Not even vampires." he continued, staring at Jimin. At that, he felt the atmosphere around them change, his tone and suggestiveness making Jimin shiver.
After all, Jeongguk hated vampires. Right?
