Put the block back up? Every small bit of hope Nate had felt since Sid opened his door disappears in an instant. Of course Sid doesn’t actually want Nate, he just wants to make sure Nate is fucked up enough that no one else can have him either.
“Right,” Nate says coldly. “Just block me permanently again. Forget I exist. That’s been working great for the last two years.”

Nate doesn’t hesitate when he lets himself into Sid’s house one summer morning. He’d done the same thing yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and…
Well. He’s not exactly expecting to see Sid standing in his kitchen with a man on his knees in front of him. Sid’s eyes are closed and the other man’s back is to Nate but he doesn’t look familiar. Sid’s hand is threaded through the other man’s hair. Nate is frozen in shock until Sid groans and pushes his hips forward a little. “Fuck, ‘m close, don’t - oh god, don’t stop.”
Nate turns around and leaves, closing the door behind him as quietly as possible. He walks quickly back to his own house while reminding himself to keep breathing. He sits down on his couch, eyes wide.
What the fuck.

Prime moves swiftly, with purpose—lifting, shifting, tossing debris aside as though it weighs nothing. His steps are careful but unrelenting, the ground shaking just slightly under each one. The tremor of the rubble vibrates through Starscream and it feels like knives being jabbed into his wires.
Of course Optimus Prime would show up. Of course he'd come for one of his own.
He can't even delegate this to someone else. Optimus Prime is too noble, too compassionate, too honorable to not put his own life on the line for his underlings.
Megatron would laugh at the very notion.

He doesn’t know Dewdrop’s love language, but he can find out! All he has to do is run a simple test over the course of the next five weeks, one ‘love language’ per week. He’ll take notes, collect sufficient data, and by the end of the five weeks he’ll go over his findings and draw a conclusion on which one is Dew’s. It’s a flawless plan. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
Alpine posting pictures of them laughing and joking (and flirting?) with each other at a photoshoot in their race suits at the start of the season is definitely intentional. If it means he spends too long staring at Esteban’s smile, the way Esteban's hand touches his shoulder, that’s irrelevant. If he remembers the unexpected flutter he felt when he made Esteban laugh, that’s also irrelevant. The only thing that matters is that his team is clearly trying to force a reconciliation that neither are looking for. Especially Pierre, if they’re asking.
