Summary
Cyno really had no idea when he first started considering Alhaitham a friend. He had always seen the boy as sort of stuck up and pretentious, and while he similarly was a bit of a loner; his lack of friends had always seemed to come from people seeing him as an outsider or different. Alhaitham had instead chosen to be alone, chosen to be rude and gained a terrible reputation for it. One that definitely hadn't improved after his spectacular fallout with Kaveh, one of the most popular boys in the academia and who seemed like sunshine personified even from afar.
So considering Alhaitham's bad reputation and past as Kasharwars golden boy's shadow, Cyno had decided, like pretty much every other student, to stay as far from the silver haired boy as possible. He certainly didn't need more reasons for his fellow student body to see him as weird.
Yet here he was, sitting playing cards in Alhaitham's living room watching Alhaitham giggle at a joke even he thought was bad and thinking about how he never realized how pretty the other boy was.
