Summary
Luigi accidently breaks the jar that Bowser is confined in. It just seems to be one screw up after another, and who's left to clean up these messes?
Mario.
Annoyed of that, he sets off to make things right. Things don't necessarily go as planned. The capturer ends up becoming the captured.

"Enough, Kamek. Don't kill him." The king signalled him to stop. "Get out of here and leave him to me. No spells.""But sire." The wizard protested. "You can't trust him. He works alongside Mario. There's no telling what they've schemed up-
"That's an order. Plus this guy is no threat. Without his brother here to save or defend him- I'm sure he'll be as cooperative as a trained dog." Bowser grinned, leaning down so he could hover over the man who was lying down on the stone floor, small puffs of air leaving his slightly parted lips. "If he becomes a nuisance or I simply grow bored, I'll kill him."
Kamek nodded. "As you wish, sire." In a poof of sparkly smoke, he was gone.
"So, greenie. It looks like it's just the two of us."

Summary
Alastor was in over his head, not being able to end Vincent’s life after kidnapping him. Now he had to figure out what to do with the man tied up to a chair in his cabin. Probably his most hasty decision he’d ever made.
And now the police were sniffing around town, looking for the high-profile man from out of state, or whatever was left of him.
Alastor was not interested in letting Vincent go. And his captive didn’t really seem interested in escaping anyway.

Vincent balled his hands into fists. “You son of a bitch, I’ll— I’ll scream!”
“Oh, I do hope so.” As Vincent opened his mouth to protest, a thick wad of cloth was stuffed inside. “But try not to be too loud, hmm? Wouldn’t want to disturb the neighbors.”
Vincent choked as he heard the drop of a needle and the familiar opening static of one of his records. He screamed into the gag, but whatever it was made of, it muffled him quite a lot. A slender finger traced itself across his jaw. “You’ve been rather amusing, Mr. Whittman. I think I’ll take my time with you.”
