Summary
Scott awoke from his very long nap to find a human exploring the crypt he'd been imprisoned within. Instead of being creeped out or leaving, she offers to bring him back to their camp. Curiosity wins out, and he ends up joining the odd group of humans as they travel between the city and the ruins of Oakhurst, attempting to discover the place's secrets. His initial goal is to gather information on things that have changed in his slumber and then regain his power, but these humans pique his interests in a way he hasn't experienced before.

Scott finds himself roommate to a very oblivious human, and the strangeness of this new time and these humans ends up intriguing him more than his bloodlust.

Summary
Scar was the beginning of it all, the one to get the sanctuary up and running, though at first not by that name. It was a place he could hide and do as he pleased, with nobody to tell him what to do. Things changed bit by bit, with more people finding the sanctuary to be their home. It wasn't the initial plan, but nobody would complain about the results.

Summary
Scott has settled in at the sanctuary alongside many other surviving magical beings. He's recovered from his past, but that's being tested now that it's returned to haunt him directly in the form of a face he thought he'd never see again.
OR: The sanctuary is home to plenty of strange creatures, and some of them happen to be magical races hiding amongst the people of Coral Isle. Everything is going great, they have a safe place to be themselves, they're well respected for their rescue work, and they've finally been able to stop running. Unfortunately, a storm is brewing on the horizon that will force them out of hiding, whether that's for good or bad, only time will tell.
It's not necessary for you to have read the prior story in this series, but it will provide additional context!

Summary
Shigeo has not used his powers since he was 15, and he plans to keep it that way. Until a run-in with a young, exuberant teen named Reigen tears off his hood. Shigeo then meets Teru and Shou, the co-founders of an organization called TRUST created to help young espers grow and thrive. Through these new friendships, Shigeo is exposed to other espers, forced to reckon with his own powers, confront past traumas, and grapple with emotions that he thought he would never experience again.
