The next second, Wyll found himself stretching a hand up towards the sky, not even knowing why he was doing it -
Ignition.
There was a rushing noise in his head, chaotic and so loud he couldn’t hear anything else. Static blurred through his brain, jumbling his thoughts as he tried to get a grasp on what was happening.

Summary
Astarion, attacked in a dark alley, was brought back home by his siblings. A couple of days later, Cazador hosts one of his soirées and he will make sure that his disappointing Spawn remembers his place. But, tonight, some of the guests are painfully familiar to Astarion.
His companions have one thing in mind: to save him from Cazador's clutches before it can be too late. Astarion doesn't care for saviors though. Only one thing matters to him: for them to not see him like this.

She has imagined potential reunions with Lae'zel before, but she never imagined they would occur before the death of the Lich Queen. It would feel like caging a wild animal. Lae'zel would always be looking outward, wondering about the Astral Sea and the fate of her people.
But Shadowheart is not a perfect creature. She houses these wild animals anyway. She watches wolves, squirrels, and cats lumber through the widened door of her cottage, embracing the warmth of her hostel and the gentle touch of her hands before returning to their own homes. She wonders if Lae’zel will come back to her in this way—imagines Lae’zel coming to visit for a single night before returning to the moon above where Shadowheart sends her prayers.
