Summary
During their visit to Monstropolis, Randall opens a door to collect more Scream. But, due to time flowing differently in each world, that door just happens to lead to a 7-year-old Sora's closet back home on Destiny Islands. Luckily, Riku is there and ready to prove that there's no such thing as monsters.
Following the ensuing chaos, 16-year-old Sora, Donald and Goofy are tasked with finding a way to get young Riku back home where he belongs without messing up the space/time/ world-line continuum. A billboard lit up the highway, an energy drink ad with their photos: all three of them posed, smiling fake smiles, slogans like “Hunt your fears.” The background showed a colorful digital monster, a play of light and shadow that felt like a gentle tease.
Mira laughed quietly.
“Look, that ad’s still running.”Rumi was about to answer but there was no time.
A sudden white flash, way too close.
Then the sound.
A sharp bang, metal bending. Glass exploding into a thousand shards.
And then silence.
