    “We can’t bring him. He’s a monster.” Annabeth said, putting her foot down and glaring at Tyson.

    Tyson whimpered.

    All the frustration and anger of seeing Tyson getting bullied all year at the mortal school and camp, and all the bullying Percy had been through just for sticking close to Tyson exploded and Percy saw red.

    “He is not a monster.” Percy growled back, fed up. “Tyson is a being with thoughts and feelings, and just as deserving of respect as you and I. He’s never hurt anyone who hasn’t hurt me or him first. Considering how you’re treating him, dehumanizing him and calling him an it, gross and monster, I’m starting to wonder if you’re the real monster here, Annabeth.”

    Eraserhead: I think if it was something simple he would be giving us shit for being worried. He wouldn’t have been so cagey, and he would probably have explained at least a little.

    Tsukauchi: Yeah. I just hope we’re wrong.

    Eraserhead: I think by now we’ve both been in this game long enough to trust our intuition.

    Eraserhead: I hope we’re wrong too.


    When the vigilante known as Jade abruptly cuts off communication with his usual contacts mid-mission, Eraserhead and Detective Tsukauchi start to get worried. He seemed off the last time they talked to him. The longer he's gone, the more worried they get.

    “And how do you plan to do that exactly?” Overhaul asks, raising a thin brow.

    “I’ve heard you like to experiment, right? Developing black market drugs and stuff?” He hopes the rumours are true. “Well, you can have my son…”

    There’s a beat of silence. And then another. Overhaul’s yellow eyes stare him down blankly all the while. It feels like it goes on forever until finally, with a flick of Overhaul’s wrist, Midoriya’s arms are released.

    “S-So… Do we have a deal?” Midoriya squeaks, his wife’s crying face pulled flush against his bleeding neck.

    “We do,” Chisaki answers easily.

    or, Izuku gets sold to the Shie Hassaikai to repay his father's debt, but instead of becoming a lab rat, he's shown the world from a different perspective, and all the ways he can take his revenge for the pain he's been put through.
