Summary
After taking in the son of the most infamous supervillain in Ninjago, Kai knows he might not be long for this world. As the villain seems to fixate on destroying Kai and all he loves, the hero struggles to balance protecting both an ignorant kid and himself from a madman.
But as Garmadon’s attacks become more personal—more game-like—Kai starts to suspect there might be more to the villain’s fixation on him than a need for revenge. There’s a reason fire-wielders are typically villains, and as Kai begins to lose control of both his powers and self, he’s afraid Garmadon—wielder of the dark flame—might just be a reflection of his future.
