It had, worst of all, been long enough for Shizun's body to begin to chill, even as it was held in Binghe's arms.

Shen Yuan had never been the most agile. Neither as a kid and especially not as a lanky adult. He carried himself with a slow grace and was mostly fine when on his own. But when faced with large crowds or other people in his space, he had a habit of... tripping.
Despite this weakness, his strengths had transferred over well when he transmigrated into Shen Qingqiu’s body. When they didn't, Shen Qingqiu’s muscle memory was usually able to pull him through.
Thanks to that, Shen Yuan, now Shen Qingqiu, had largely made it far without even tripping once. But not all good things can last forever.
