    “Oh god..” He sobs even louder as he's coaxed to look up at the officer trying to soothe him with kind words, but it really isn't helping right now, the sound of muffled voices rushing to help his best friend as they get ready to take him to the hospital– suddenly going silent.

    It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

    Andrew's gaze snaps over to look at them, wild and feverish as the realization dawns on him all at once.
