Summary
Jessica Jones has many flaws and fears. Her short fuse has her storming into the midst of the Battle of New York; her paranoia has her keeping the Avengers at arms' length. But she isn't the only one dealing with paranoia and PTSD. Tony Stark seems to be spiralling in Stark Tower all alone, and sometimes Jessica just gives a damn.

Pain flares in Tony's jaw when his teeth grind together. One hand curls into a fist on the desk and his knuckles turn white from the force of it. "You are a tremendously difficult person to have any kind of relationship with, you know that?" he bites out, his voice cold and devoid of any hint of playfulness he'd normally be able to employ.
"So stop trying," Jessica retorts emphatically.
Tony's chin drops to his chest and he heaves a sigh, his brow furrowing. Through the haze of his anger, the rearing head of nauseating guilt, he has a sharp moment of clarity. "You'll seriously hit as low as you can just to put people off, huh?"

Summary
Two years.
Two years of running. Two years of fighting. Two years of stealing.
That was how long Asteria Ford had been trapped in the multiverse for, fighting for her life and for a way home. She had begun to think she would be trapped there forever when one fateful day she was yanked out and back into the universe as she knew it. Or at least, what she could remember of it.
Instead, she is faced with the infuriating Doctor Strange who was determined on having her crude sorcery skills trained - by him of course - and even more intent on finding out who she had been before being tossed into the multiverse.

Because he's so tired.
Then footsteps seemingly appear from nowhere.
With a little help, Tony remembers. Remembers other lives. Remembers his duty to the Balance. Thanos risks that Balance once again. In working to defend earth, build his forces and maybe actually have a little fun along the way. If Fate would stop throwing complications at him, that would be nice.
