Summary
One cruel thumb forces his mouth open and any thoughts quickly die in his mind. He feels his far-back teeth being revealed, the air drying his gums and rendering his syllables unintelligible.
“You placed your life in my hands when you decided to come back, 456.” It’s the first time that evening that he’s been called by his number. He feels like a mutt in a kennel, backed into a corner and terrified of inexorable chemical euthanization.
In a near-reverent manner, the man traces his thumb one-by-one over the ridges of his upper teeth, piercing it intently on a canine, like worshipping silently to a strand of prayer beads. Gi-hun tastes blood in his mouth and it tastes like a pact. “You are mine. And mine alone.”
In the moments following the death of Jung-bae, Gi-hun is taken into the Frontman's quarters. He feels like a specimen observed beneath fluorescent lights through microscopes; a deer stalked by a wolf. But he can do it right back.
This is the waltz between two men, equally curious and equally ready to kill. Gi-hun is willing to go to any lengths to disarm his adversary. Only— how far is too far?

“When you’re the king, everyone wants a taste.” He teased before claiming Sherlock’s mouth, the detective powerless to stop it, though the way that he melted into him suggested that there wasn’t much resistance in him to begin with.
