Summary
19 years before the first book, roughly when Luke was born, a call was made. A call to a quirky pizza place in Boston to be exact. A call from Long Island for enough pizza to feed possibly an entire summer camp of children. A Junior in high school working a summer job answers this call. Shamus (spelled S-S-shamus), the adopted son of the two snakes from the beginning of House of Nero (Read the first chapter to see what I mean), is a non-clearsighted mortal who works at his parents’ kitschy Greek themed pizzeria as a summer job in order to buy the new Atari console (having just been released in 1986). Will he answer the strange delivery call, or will he ignore it?
