‘Kacchan’ stared back at him, in large blinking letters.

Ochako Uraraka passed her Provisional Hero License Exam and went back to school a young semi-pro Hero… at Shiketsu High School. It’s a strange thing, really: she’s that much closer to her dream, but there’s a new and different kind of obstacle in her way now.
Of course, it doesn’t help that the soulmate she found along the way lives halfway across the country, nor how damn cute and obviously head over heels for her he is. She isn’t really sure she wants a relationship at all, let alone with some kid that was just thrust into her life.
But maybe… they can just talk and start out as friends. What is the harm in that?

Having been born without a quirk, Midoriya Izuku is still determined to be a hero and save everyone. This leads him to attempt saving a kitty from a tree, to sooth his crushed ego after another beatdown from Bakugo. This tree, however, holds no kitty, but an opportunity to be a hero, in exchange for preparing humanity for something they won't be able to handle if they're still devided amongst themselves.
Becoming the No. 1 Hero will be a stepping stone to saving Earth from a catastrophy beyond it's understanding, and reaching it will still be difficult, even with his newfound abilities.
