With a natural optimism and exceptional negotiation skills, Harry was often assigned to “deliveries” for the most dangerous criminal gang in Britain—the Death Eaters.
He should have been cautious, but during his very first meeting, Harry chatted and smiled so casually that the entire gang was left speechless.
No one expected that his recklessness and innocence would be exactly what unsettled and intrigued the infamous gang leader—Tom Riddle.

In another universe, The Crown Prince of Xian Le, Xie Lian, did not ascend as a martial god, but as a god of flowers, a minor god.

He spends his days in isolation, occasionally visited by gods when they want him for their festivals. He cannot refuse.

Until a new 'god' visited, one draped in red with a large, red butterfly perched on his shoulder.

OR: in which Izuku never receives One For All, becomes a vigilante and tries to keep everyone at an arms length. Doesn't mean they'll let him, though.

Sick of Dumbles manipulations, Harry struck a deal with Voldemort after his resurrection ritual, which made his summer much more... interesting.
See, everyone expected Harry to be a light, reckless, self-sacrificing Gryffindor and not a charming, cold and powerful Slytherin, who had a knack of getting under people's skin and wasn't afraid to curse those in his way. Nobody expected him to be ~dark. Not even Tom (which - much to Harry's horror - helpfully pointed out that Harry was acting like a Tom Riddle 2.0, gathering followers and such)
With Harry blatantly denying Dark Lord's return, they work together in destroying scheming Dumbledore and gaining followers, exploring their newfound bond and... sneaking into the Chamber to visit Basilisk?
As Tom learns of Harry's past he realizes, everything he was told about his young nemesis was a lie. A carefully sculptured persona Harry created duped even Dumbledore. He finally met his equal.
