Summary
“What’s a bad miracle? They got a word for that?”
— OJ Haywood, ‘NOPE (2022)’It started with a wreck and a leash. Hours poured into books and shows of the supernatural kind, days of preparing speeches and dissertations confirming the malice of extraterrestrial life, only for an unconscious alien prince to crash square dab in the middle of Dib’s backyard.
Gaz was not having a good day. Neither was Mnemoszimi, apparently.

Summary
If you were to tell Branch a month ago that he would be singing and dancing with hundreds of different trolls to celebrate their music and culture, he would have laughed in your face. He still feels like he’s trying to catch up, like his brain can’t quite understand everything that happened. Branch might just consider locking himself in the bunker for a few days if he didn’t already have more pressing things to deal with. This isn’t to say that Branch wasn’t utterly exhausted, he had been running around all day making sure things went smoothly. So when he got a tap on the shoulder and a letter addressed to him pressed into his paws, he felt a sense of dread of having to open it.
Or, what might have happened if Velvet and Veneer found Bitty B first.

Summary
I'm frozen into this fucking ice of Antenora. Not up to my shoulders — my own weight must have pushed me to the surface while I was out cold. And now I'm locked solid, spread out like a log. Only my toes stick out, blue and frostbitten, along with my head and belly. Fuck, who freezes someone like this?! Though… I don't even care anymore.
But my thoughts are interrupted by him. That damn Virtue. That damn Temperance.
I instinctively try to pull my toes under the ice, even though I know it's useless. And stupid.
But Temperance just stands there. Silent... And in that silence, to the steady beat of the dripping water, he seems to be both making a decision and thinking it over. I wait. I wait for the familiar pain, blades under the nails, a heel to the gut. I wait to be kicked like a sack of bones. Or, worst of all—for them to touch that spot on my skull again, where I remember the cold of the scalpel all too well.
But he stays silent...
And finally says:
