Summary
Once Celestia starts to awaken, they punish Venti for avoiding the role he swore to wear, cursing him as an example.
He has to: assume he is Barbatos, and participate in ruling the city; always have his wings out, unable to hide them anymore; since he mingled with humans so much, now he will be forced choose between pain, or seeking proximity;
It feels like an embarrassment and betrayal of everything Venti stood for. He wanted Mondstadt to be free of gods, and feared being treated differently once the people he knew found his identity. What would they think once they saw the pathetic state of the wings of their Archon?
And besides, love was a feeling that should be given freely.
That love proves to be what sets things right. Mondstadt is still free, and the nature of Venti’s bonds flourishes beyond what he ever dreamed of.

Summary
Despite how much he often drinks, Venti’s constitution means that it is much more difficult than one might think for him to truly “black out,” and he likes to think that he can usually control himself before it gets to that point. Because when he doesn’t, he becomes a little…too honest.
But in this one instance, maybe that’s a good thing.
Or: Zhongli happens upon an excessively inebriated bard curled up in the lap of a Rex Lapis statue and has to deal with the consequences.

Summary
Zhongli is trying his best to live as a regular person, and that means earning his own income, as the people of Liyue have managed to do for centuries. It frustrates him to find that it's not as easy as he's always looked. And it frustrates him more that the Liyue Qixing seem determined to meddle in his attempts.

Summary
Kujou turns to Ayato. “And you. Treat the Doushin with the respect he deserves, as the only detective with a spotless record in the investigation department.”
“Are you threatening me?”
Ayato’s voice is dangerous. He can see Shikanoin seething, too.
Clearly, no one is happy with the arrangement.
Kujou opens her mouth, perhaps to object, but then decides against it. “Yes, actually. I’m about at the end of my rope with the two of you. You want this case solved? Collaborate.”
“Collaborate with him?” Shikanoin asks incredulously. “This is why you didn’t tell me it was Kamisato putting forth the commission, then. You knew I’d never agree.”
“I did.” Kujou admits easily.
OR: As similar as Shikanoin Heizou and Kamisato Ayato are, there's a mutual kind of loathing that's been seething for ages. Ayato, for seeing Heizou's free and self-serving spirit - and Heizou, for seeing Ayato's manipulative, cruel side.
But no matter what, both Heizou and Ayato want the case solved, for their own reasons - and thus a begrudging alliance is formed, as they unravel a plot spanning Inazuma's entirety.
(And, maybe, they begin to understand each other a little better.)

Summary
Fifteen-year-old Kamisato Ayaka enjoys the respect of the Yashiro Commission staff. But when one man's respect veers into darker territory, it will take all her efforts to stay out of his clutches.
