Summary
With Ansem's defeat giving her none of the answers she sought, Kairi's search for Sora and Riku was far from over. After days of wandering the Realm Between, a hooded figure appears before Kairi, Donald and Goofy, beckoning them towards a strange, twisted castle.
Convinced that a clue to Sora and Riku's whereabouts lies within the castle, Kairi accepts the figure's invitation. But as she and her friends progress through the halls of oblivion, visions of another girl begin to skirt the edges of Kairi's mind...

Summary
Sora was gone, changed beyond recognition because of her. The Keyblade was no more. Riku and the worlds would all be lost to Ansem because of her own weakness.
Yet fate had other plans, it seemed, when Kairi found herself in possession of her own Keyblade. It now fell to her to pick up the pieces Sora left behind, to find a way to bring both of her loved ones back.
(In which Kairi obtains her Keyblade in KH1 Hollow Bastion, instead of restoring Sora's human form.)
