In a perfect world Jeremy would have gone back to normal and Michael would be happy, the world wasn't perfect. Jeremy had a new girlfriend and of course he would never be the same but it just didn't feel like he was trying. Enter Rich, the unexpected new friend to Michael. It just seemed to happen, it was easy. He didn't expect Michael's forgiveness in ways that Jeremy did - in a way that made it easier.

Summary
After everything that happened with the Squip, Michael wishes for nothing more than things to go back to normal - which turns out to be much more difficult than he could have ever imagined.

People always treat Kiyotaka like he's oblivious, and honestly, he doesn't get it. Why does no one else seem to get that he's gay, not stupid? It's everyone else who's making things unnecessarily complicated.
