Starclan chose Timepaw to receive messages and prophecies, and Timepaw used to believe in Starclan, he used to believe that as long as Starclan was there everything would be okay. And then it started happening. Thunderclan attacked and killed his sister and father. Then the famine came that killed his best friend. Then the dogs attacked and killed the medicine cat apprentice. Windclan was struck with tragedy after tragedy, and Timepaw was forced to step up into the place of Medicine cat apprentice so the clan could communicate with Starclan. When Starclan fell silent, Windclan was enraged, and so they turned their back on their ancestors, vowing to never trust in them again. Timepaw vowed to one day get his revenge on Thunderclan.
