Summary
“OA!” a fuzzy voice said, and despite his internal band, he could hear that it sounded as if it were crying.
It took longer than expected to open his eyes, the effort he’d had to use almost making him consider for a moment if they were glued shut, but eventually he opened them a fraction.
The world was a swirly and blurry mess of colours, which in turn made his stomach churn harder, but as his eyes slowly inched open, he could make out the face of Maggie.
