Summary
Light misses L, no matter if he refuses to admit it to anyone, even himself. He falls asleep at his tombstone one night, and instead of waking up on graveyard grass, he is back in his room, the morning of the day he got his Death Note. He remembers it all, and yet he's in the past. So, naturally, he decides he will be Kira again, and he will not make the same mistakes as before.

“A show of trust. I’ll tell you whether or not I’m Kira, and you’ll tell me your name.”
“You go first,” L said, his chin high. The rain kissed and traced down his face. Somehow L's eyes were unbothered, and he pierced Light through and through with his unblinking gaze. “Are you Kira?”
Instinct kicked in, tried and true.
Light spread his arms, lashes cast over his eyes to keep the rain away.“Do I look like a murderer to you?”
“Absolutely," L said impatiently. "Now confess.”
“I’m not Kira,” Light said.
As if he would ever say anything else.
There are many ways that the scene on the roof could have gone. And the scene after. It was only ever gonna end one way.
